Paris Visit
Well Paris was interesting apart from the "£$%^$£" who tried to ram into my car and forced me off the road .. I lost two tyres...hmmMaybe I should have had my fortune told and I wouldn't have gone !
A couple of hints for anyone visiting Paris :
1 - wait till the current wave of strikes is over - journeys by Public transport will be imposible.
2 - There's a pretty good self service food court under the Louvre Pyramid (access through the metro station at Palais Royale - you can get a single course with a drink for around 14 Euro and its very good - lots to choose from.
4 - Go to Le Louvre EARLY ( just before 9 am) and you walk straight in - through a security area though and that's what holds things up later.
The Mona Lisa is lovely but I prefer the other Leonardo da Vinci paintings in the gallery next door ! (shame he couldn't paint feet better - but then neither can I !)
I got lost looking for the Egyptian gallery (Le Louvre is BIG !) and went to the Antiques Brocante fair at La Bastille - very expensive - saw a superb set of 100 year old wall tiles of the complete tarot but they were too heavy and too expensive to take home.
My friend Lucy asked me to mention her tarot reading website - so here's her link :

Nice girl and she's pretty good at reading the cards...
