I had to set this up as my exisiting website on gold coins (http://www.greatgoldcoins.net/) was looking a little - well ,full !
Unlike most gold coins websites this site specialises in gold sovereigns and has around informative guides to British and Australian gold sovereigns ( gold sovereigns were also minted in three separate mints all owned by the British Royal Mint.).
Gold Sovereigns were pretty much the univerally accepted currency at the turn of the 19th and 20th century.(remember the tv series Deadwood ? Well it was real !)
