I put together all the squidoo utlities and videos I could find to help people make squidoo lenses. (Actually thats not quite true! - I did it for ME !)
I hope this helps budding Squidmasters.
In my last post I droned on a bit about the Google Slap and of course Google is smarter than that !
Squidoo lenses now get pretty much the same treatment as any other legitimate website but I still think the Squidoo system of checking for proper content is the correct way to do things -

I listed all my Squidoo websites on Fotos4web.com and that listing should bring in a few links from search machines.

None of those are outright advertising sites of course.

Since the 'Google Slap' where many squido lenses were greatly demoted or even dropped by Google, many authors have queried if its worth still writing Squidoo lenses.
I can really understand Google's actions since a huge number of Squidoo lenses were just junk spam sites with no really new content at all and were just in some cases a manufacturers photo and description of the single product with just enough other modules to keep the site live. This combined with a link to an affiliate or Amazon site was just blatant advetising.
Google Adwords would look upon this as a waste of their customers advertising and money so this is (I believe) the main reason for google's lack of interest in Squidoo sites.
However, Lenses written for niches and with new information on other subjects should still be acceptable to Google - BUT Do Google have the time to check these sites ?
Only time will tell - undoubtedly Google make lots of money from adwords displayed on sites and they would be foolish to reject that out of hand.

Not - its nothing naughty I'm afraid (although the UK programme called Coupling was about couples relationships - very funny too !)
No, I was thinking of the episode where one of the girls ( a weather presenter on radio) caused major accidents when reporting from a helicopter and telling her audience
to "lets all close our eyes and pray for world peace !" or something like that - at whch hundreds of cars played crinkly-bumpers.
What Reminded me of that was Toyotas new personal transport Sytem (of the future) - where it looks like we all get an individual little poddy thing that bounces around and can even put itself the right way up when you try to have sex in it (just kidding Toyota !) - They do seem to have forgotten though that every sales rep needs a back seat to discuss Nigerian affairs with his secretary. Just imagine doing that in this ....

I just added a few more articles to my squidoo lens on Ebay Photography.
It's looking pretty good now and has some useful Pro Tips too !
Oh yes and I also updated the Extreme Sports one as well..
My Robotbuilding Site has overflowed a bit and I've had to set up a Robot Gifts site to cope with the seemingly hundreds of robots everyone is bringing out for Christmas...
If you are looking for a gift for christmas for someone its a great place to start !
Some the robots are a bit yawnmaking on the me too principle but there are some really great ones too - I love the idea of a three foot robot raptos chugging around my patio ... butI thought the Talking Elvis head was a bit ... well creepy !
Likewise the Chimpanzee head and I think it looks like something out of Frankensteins laboratory - shudder !
My Robots of the week are the Roboquad that you can put into AGRESSIVE mode and turn it onto your friends Roboquad and watch them fight (or if you're feeling more mellow take a peek at the really CUTE Robopanda !)
Of course you could always get TWO Robo quads and .. have your own Robot Wars at home
