Kenmare Virtual Tour Updated

I've now added pages on bed and breakfasts, the Ring of Kerry Tour and Hotels (with a booking bit too !)
I started answering Kerry and Kenmare questions on Tripadvisor and that's quite fun too - but things are changing rapidly in Kenmare - a new development called the Peninsula has been announced and there's a public exhibition to show residents what it will be like - I think local shopkeepers are a bit worried as there's a new shopping centre and a large supermarket envisaged. (but the 720 parking places will be welcome - parking's getting to be a major problem)
Altogether I guess the plan will DOUBLE the size of Kenmare and I wonder what the town will be like then.
It could benefit from new amenities but I think the building projects will seriously affect traffic in the town and surroundings.
I'll look at the project and report on it
Ooooh I nearly forgot ! Vodaphone and O2 are trying to get a huge new mast put up on the Garda Station and all the residents are LIVID.

Kenmare Virtual Tour

I've spent the last few months writing and adjusting my new website - www.kenmarevirtualtour.com

We get thousands of visitors to Kenmare and they all pretty much ask the same questions - so I'm currently visiting pubs and restaurants with the view to producing a restaurant and pub guide - like which are the best, cheapest, friendliest restaurants (I always fanced myself as a restaurant critic !).

So far the virtual tour has about 80 pages with around 700 photographs so I guess it will be helpful to visitors.

If there's anything you would like to see on the site then please let me know - it's very user-friendly and I'm trying to produce the best guide available.

Unntil I did the tour even I didn't know much about Sir WIlliam Petty - there's an interesting article on him by John Aubrey the 17thC Diarist - Ann and I saw the stage production of his diaries in London some years ago and it was quite scurrilous !

Anyway, why not pop over to the website and take a peek at the photos - I think I did them quite well (but then I WOULD say that wouldn't I !)

There are some Adsense bits from Google and sometimes they pop up slightly off-topic things like brig=dge builders and some rather messy agricultural things.... The SHEEP photos are rather cute though - I spent yesterday photographing the little lambs skipping around !
